Energy security is both a strategical and economic issue; this article aims to focus over the changes occurred in Libyan oil market between 2011 and 2018. Given that each governor of Libya and the international community bases their plans for Libyan development over oil and the oil partnership with foreign firms, I am going to explore which concurrent causes contributed to preserve the oil production in these years and which kind of changes occurred in the oil industry in the run of the recent two civil wars, particularly since Eni acquired a growing percentage of market share.
